I was going through my old pictures and found this one of Grandaddy holding Phoebe for the first time. I love that it looks like she's smiling. Like she already knew and loved him...
what a fabulous photo. i think you should frame it and put it in her room. and yes, talk to her lots about him. we talk to allen tons about his "pop-pop" (brian's daddy), and we show him pictures. trust me, stories and pictures will stick in her memory ... and it will bring you joy and comfort to hear her speak of him one of these days...
Talk to little Phoebe lots about your Grandaddy. She will feel like she already knows him when they meet again.
